Joa Ljungberg
Curator. Born 1976 in Sweden. BA in History of Arts at Uppsala University (Sweden) and Warwick University (England). MA in Curating at Goldsmiths College University of London (England). Previously worked for Moderna Museet and Moderna Museet’s International Program in Stockholm (1999-2004). Currently curates commissions for the National Public Art Council of Sweden (2004-). Works actively as a freelance curator in Sweden and internationally.

is a freelance curator based in Tirana and Stockholm. Curator of several international exhibitions in Albania and abroad. Co-founder and co-director of Tirana Biennale, former Guest Professor at Academy of Fine Arts, Tirana and former curator of the International Program of National Gallery of Arts, Tirana.

Curatorial activities; In 2004 He creates 1.60insurgent space, an artistic and curatorial space of investigation of the urban areas. 1.60insurgent space is an open space inside the cities, for the realization of site specific exhibitions, curated by Stefano Romano and another curator or artist different each time.
